Many Americans Continue To Struggle With Credit

Recently, the Federal Reserve released the results of their 2015 Financial Well-being survey. Over 5,000 households answered questions about their current economic standing. Much of the results were positive.

For instance, 69% of adults reported they were “doing okay”, a four point improvement over the previous year. However, when it comes to banking and credit, the Fed’s study showed that a “sizable minority of those who recently expressed a desire for credit report some difficulty in getting approved”.

A closer look at the Fed’s findings reveals several distressing facts about Americans’ access to credit and their handling of credit cards.
