From time to time, your employer or its insurance company may not be able to pay you these benefits when you should have received them, or has paid you too little. Your employer should then offer you a lump-sum amount for what he owes you, based on your agreement to not pursue this compensation.
Unpaid Medical Bills
Your workers’ compensation claim will entitle you to continued medical care for your injury or illness. If your injuries are comparatively slight, then you may be looking for only to have your medical bills paid for by your employer under your worker’s compensation claim. In some cases, your employer may offer you a lump-sum settlement in exchange for your agreement to not pursue a case.
There is a lot of money involved in worker’s compensation. The money will give you two-thirds of your salary. You should be paid in retrospect. There are many considerations in worker’s compensation and the amount that you should get. When you are filing for worker’s compensation, expect to get only what you deserve and not too much, or more or less what you want to get.
